Do you know someone who does not love tiramisu? If there is a dessert that most vegetarians miss, it will be tiramisu. There are several types of tiramisu vegan recipes to enjoy this delicious dessert. If you are not a vegan, you can add this Italian classic to your healthy diet. In the original recipe you will find mascarpone and eggs. The vegan kitchen of course offers a replacement of these ingredients. With silk tofu, soy cream and vegetable margarine the taste remains the same!
Tiramisu vegan recipes are also popular with non-vegans
You may not have the patience to try this Italian classic. Here is the recipe for you!
- 1 pack of spelled wholegrain rusks
- 300g vegan whipped cream (I took Soyatoo coconut)
- 400g silk tofu
- 50g icing sugar
- 2 packs of cream stabilizer
- Strong espresso for dipping
- Possibly. a shot of Amaretto
First, you have to prepare the espresso. Add some cocoa and amaretto and let cool completely. Beat the well chilled vegan whipped cream with the creamy stiff for 3 minutes. Then mix together with the silk tofu to a creamy mass sieve icing sugar. Dip the rusks in the coffee and place in a casserole dish the bottom with a layer. Then comes a layer of our cream. Then again a layer of rusk. Repeat until ingredients are used up. The top layer is again a layer of cream. Leave the finished tiramisu in the fridge for at least 6 hours, ideally overnight, and pull it through. Fix on a plate and sprinkle with some cocoa powder as a decoration.
For an original taste they make the biscottes themselves
If you can not find vegan biscotti in the supermarket, you can buy gluten-free biscuits or wholemeal rusks (as in the recipe). But to personalize your tiramisu vegan recipe, make the biscotti yourself. All you need is a cup of buckwheat flour, cashews and dates, as well as a bit of water, lemon juice, baking soda, vanilla and salt. Mix everything with a blender and bake for about 30 minutes.
