Crafting with paper plates – great ideas for Christmas and New Year’s Eve
Like I said before, making paper plates is easy and fun when working with your kids. The ideas we have collected in this post are specifically for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, but with the disposable plates you can also realize creative craft projects in the other seasons – just let your imagination run wild! And when it comes to winter, you can easily turn the paper plates into a Christmas tree – and you could work with one or more round plates. Let the little ones paint the plate with green acrylic paint and wait until it dries out completely. Then cut the plate into three parts, with the last third slightly smaller than the others. Arrange the pieces in the shape of a fir-tree and glue them together. Decorate then the “tree” with colorful deco ribbon, glitter, craft beads, rhinestones and of course a star for the top. You can get more ideas for crafting a Christmas tree from our photos.
