Crafting with Toilet Paper Rolls Christmas – Original Advent Calendar
With toilet paper rolls you can effortlessly craft an original Advent calendar. You’ll need 24 rolls (or 12 pieces cut in half – depending on the size you want), an empty shoebox or cardboard box, some crepe paper and rubber bands. Arrange the rolls in the box and fill them with sweets and small gifts – for every day from early December to Christmas Eve. Then cover the containers with pieces of crepe paper, whereupon you have written the numbers from 1 to 24, and lock them with the rubber bands. You already know the rule – only one container may be opened every day.

You should fold the outer edges of each roll inwards and stick as desired. The gift packaging can be painted, and decorated as desired – for example, with small loops. And if you want to make cute owls out of the rolls, then you should still tinker eyes, beak, wings and feather from pieces of paper – as shown in the photos above.
